We took four of our youngest children to Hong Kong in 2011 and started what would be a six year adventure throughout South East Asia.
The idea of spending 6 years in an apartment on Hong Kong Island with 4 children, now seems like madness, but at the time we thought of nothing but the adventures and learnings that the opportunity would present to us and the children.
From becoming part owners in a junk which we used to cruise the South China Sea to the fabulous exploration of countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, The Maldives and Thailand, we had the most amazing time.
Whilst we had to leave our 3 oldest kids at home, the opportunity to bring them on fabulous holidays throughout our time away from Australia and visit with us in Hong Kong was always greeted with a huge amount of excitement.
